The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially announced the dates for the written examinations for the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical) and Junior Engineer (Civil).
As per the notification, the JE (Electrical) exam will take place on August 24, 2025, while the JE (Civil) exam will be held on August 31, 2025.
Admit cards for JE (Electrical) will be available for download from August 18, 2025, at 4:00 PM, and for JE (Civil) from August 25, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Candidates can download their e-admit cards from the JKSSB’s official website — www.jkssb.nic.in — by entering their name and date of birth or application number.
The Board has advised candidates to carefully read the instructions mentioned on their admit card. For any issues in downloading, candidates can contact the JKSSB Help Desk at 0191-2461335 (Jammu) or 0194-2435089 (Srinagar), or email helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com from August 18 onwards during office hours.
The notice further warns that misrepresentation of information, impersonation, or any fraudulent activity will result in the cancellation of candidature and may also invite disciplinary action. It also reminds candidates that there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
Applicants are urged to regularly check the JKSSB website for updates, as no separate intimation will be sent via post.
How to download your e-admit card:
1. Visit www.jkssb.nic.in
2. Click on the E-Admit Card link on the homepage
3. Enter your name and other required details, or application number
4. Click on View and Print E-Admit Card
5. Download and take a print
out to carry on the exam day.
