Important update about extension of winter vacations and commencement of class work in Kashmir

Schools set to reopen tomorrow for students up to higher secondary level on 4th March. No official announcement yet on the extension of winter vacations in Kashmir. 

In anticipation of heavy snowfall, the Meteorological Department issued a weather advisory, prompting the decision to delay classwork commencement in all government and recognized private schools of the Kashmir Division up to the higher secondary level. 

The initial date of 1st March 2024 has now been rescheduled to 4th March, aligning with safety measures. Stay tuned for any further updates on winter vacations in the region.
